***The following lines are to enlighten you with a hardworking, professional and community leader Dr. Saadeldin Bahr:

Dr. Bahr is a physician holding M.B.Ch.B. degree in Medicine and Surgery from both Alexandria university and the University of British Columbia “UBC”
Dr. Bahr was working with WHO and UNHCR for many years before immigrating to Canada.
Dr. Saadeldin Bahr has countless contributions worldwide in relief and Humanitarian/Medical work towards distressed people and refugees at various locations.
In Canada, beside his work as a Medical Doctor, he spent many years in establishing the Muslim Community in the Tricities region of Vancouver lower mailand by renting a place at his cost and his own effort in 1995 to gather the community for Friday and the five daily prayers, and to celebrate Islamic events and Eids. Also, he started a weekend school for Muslim families and children.
From 1998 until 2003, Dr. Saadeldin Bahr established one of the biggest Islamic Centers in western Canada and USA. Without Dr. Bahr, the Islamic Cultural Centre and Masjid Alhidayah will not be established with the help of Allah to this great man Dr. Bahr.
With Dr. Bahr great dedication in fundraising especially from his network overseas, and his sacrifices with his time and even his family to follow up with the contactors and engineers Masjid Alhidayah and the Islamic Cultural Centre was completed and opened officially in Friday August 15, 2003.
Dr. Bahr continued his great effort in fundraising especially from overseas until he paid off all remaining loans. Even Dr. Bahr helped financially in establishing other two Masjids and Islamic Centres in the lower mainland “Masjid-u-Salaam of Burnaby” and “Jamie Masjid and Islamic Centre of Surrey”.
With the leadership of Dr. Saadeldin Bahr, great programs and services were delivered to the community Muslims and non-Muslims over decades of sincere hard working and dedications.
All of the above are reflected in these three pages of pictures. Please have a glimpse of his great work and duty Dr. Bahr offered to the community at large.
As we witnessed Dr. Bahr great work and dedication. we would like to say Jazaka Allah Khair and thank you Dr. Bahr. May Allah reward you and your family from His great Mercy in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen
